Performance
Dual M.2 Slots (up to 64 Gbps)
The PRIME B550M-K ARGB offers two M.2 slots, one of which supports data-transfer speeds of up to 64 Gbps via PCIe 4.0, enabling quicker boot-up and app load times with OS or application drives.
PCIe 4.0 Support
The primary PCIe 4.0 x16 slot delivers double the bandwidth of PCIe 3.0 for the latest graphics cards and NVMe SSDs.
Memory & Storage
Two DIMM slots support DDR4-SDRAM in dual-channel configuration, with a maximum capacity of 64 GB and speeds from 2133 MHz up to 5100 MHz (OC). Unbuffered memory. Four SATA III connectors support HDD and SSD storage with RAID 0, 1, and 10.

Cooling
PCH heatsink, hybrid fan headers (1× CPU fan, 2× chassis fan), and Fan Xpert 2+ software for comprehensive cooling control. Each header can dynamically reference three thermal sensors, and Fan Xpert 2+ allows mapping of supported ASUS GPU temperatures for optimised cooling.
All-Around Energy Efficiency
The Energy Processing Unit (EPU) automatically optimises power consumption and maximises savings with Away mode.
Audio
7.1-channel onboard audio with audio shielding, dedicated audio PCB layers, and premium audio capacitors for warm, natural, immersive sound. Front panel audio header, S/PDIF out connector, headphone output, Line-in, and Mic-in on the rear I/O.
Design & Aesthetics
Addressable Gen 2 RGB (ARGB) header for RGB LED strips, easily synced with Aura Sync-compatible hardware. micro ATX form factor (244 × 221 mm, 36.5 mm height). Supports Windows 10 x64 and Windows 11.
