The ASUS ROG Strix B850-G Gaming WiFi is an AMD mATX motherboard built for serious gaming in a compact form factor. Featuring a 14+2+1 power stage design, DDR5 support, four M.2 slots, PCIe® 5.0, Wi-Fi 7, USB 20Gbps Type-C®, and Aura Sync RGB, it delivers flagship-tier connectivity and performance in a micro ATX footprint. PCIe 5.0 x16 GPU Slot
The primary x16 slot runs at PCIe 5.0, delivering double the bandwidth of PCIe 4.0 for the latest graphics cards.
Four M.2 Slots
Total of four M.2 (M-key) slots supporting NVMe SSDs across PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0 interfaces, depending on CPU generation. M.2_2 supports PCIe 5.0 x4 with Ryzen 9000/7000 series. M.2_3 and M.2_4 (underside) are chipset-connected PCIe 4.0 x4. Specifications vary by CPU type.

Four DIMM slots support DDR5-SDRAM in dual-channel configuration, with ECC & Non-ECC unbuffered memory, up to 256 GB maximum. Supported memory clock speed up to 8000 MHz (OC). Two SATA III connectors support up to 6 storage drives total, with RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10.
