Overview

The Intel Core i9-14900K is Intel's flagship unlocked desktop processor from the 14th Generation Raptor Lake lineup. The K suffix denotes full overclocking capability. With 24 cores (8P+16E), 32 threads, and a Thermal Velocity Boost of 6.0 GHz, it is one of the fastest consumer desktop processors available. Unlike the KF variant, the i9-14900K includes Intel UHD Graphics 770, allowing display output without a discrete GPU. No cooler is included — a high-performance aftermarket cooler meeting PCG 2020A spec is required for the 253 W max turbo power.

Turbo Boost Max 3.0 prioritises the two fastest cores at up to 5.8 GHz. Thermal Velocity Boost reaches 6.0 GHz when thermal headroom allows. Adaptive Boost Technology extends multi-core boost further. Full manual overclocking on Z-series motherboards.
